You guys, I love me a good restaurant. I have a budget line dedicated solely to this category to prove it. But this year, one of my financial goals is to eat at home more. 1) for my health and 2) to be more intentional with how I’m spending my money. It’s so incredibly easy to spend hundreds of dollars on eating out every month. So while I am trying (key word trying) to eat at home more, you can still catch me at one of these spots once a week 😉

Here are a few of my go-to restaurants that won’t break the budget.

Fogo de Chão

311 S State College Blvd, Brea, CA 92821

• All day Happy Hour everyday (bar menu only)
• Classy interior

This is by far my favorite place to go when I’m feeling a more upscale ambiance and fancier dining choices. They have an all day happy hour at the bar that takes place every day and they give you complimentary and unlimited cheesy bread- what more can you ask for? The food is delicious and they give you V.I.P service. This place is perfect for a date night.

Innovation Brew Works

3650 W Temple Ave, Pomona, CA 91768

• Casual and fun- good for groups
• Happy Hour 7 days a week 2:00pm-4:00pm & 8:00pm-close

The brewery is casual, they have T.V’s that play the latest sport games, an indoor & outdoor space, and plenty of parking- but my favorite thing is that they have happy hour everyday (even on weekends)! The esquite, jalapeño poppers and the hot honey pepp pizza are my favorite.

Casa Maguey

101 N Indian Hill Blvd, Claremont, CA 91711

• Great location in downtown claremont 
• Taco Tuesday special with all the fixin’s

I love the location of this place. It’s right in the middle of downtown Claremont. What makes this place stand out is their Taco Tuesday special which includes fresh handmade tortillas and access to all of their sides for free! When I went, they had rice, beans, chips & salsa, nopales, and dessert.

Urban Fish Taco

13865 City Center Dr Ste 3093, Chino Hills, CA 91709

• All day Happy Hour on Thursday/ Fish & Chips special
• Taco Tuesday

I probably frequent this location the most because they have specials on both Tuesday and Thursday! Their Taco Tuesday special is great because they have a lot of different taco options (like the Mama’s Fried Chicken) and a combo that comes with rice, beans and a drink. Their tacos are jam packed with flavor and they load them up!

Their fish & chips are also tasty and come over a bed of fries and a side of coleslaw- all for $11.49!

Eureka!

580 W 1st St, Claremont, CA 91711

• “Hoppy Hour” Monday-Friday 3:00pm – 6:00pm
• Nice outdoor patio area

They have a handful of good food choices and a nice outdoor patio area. I like to sit out on the patio on a nice day and go to 21 Choices (its down the street) for dessert🍦
